Sleep well

Oh sweet slumber! Come, and kiss me softly
Cradle me in your comfortable arms
And take me away, in a different world

A world, free of worries, tension and fear
Renders tranquility and a serene smile
Ejects, although fleetingly,
All the anxiety from the mind.

There is a song in hindi – “Ek din bigdi kismet sanwar jayegi, Yeh khushi hamse bach kar kidhar jaayegi Gham na kar zindagi yoon guzar jayegi, Raat jaise guzar gayee sote huye…”

(“One fine day sulked destiny will be embellished, Happiness can’t run away from us, Don’t worry; the life will pass by as The night passes while sleeping…”)

However life is not that easy.  Life might lose its flavor if it sweeps like a night in deep sleep, just dreaming. Fighting the troubles & tribulations and pursuit of happiness is the essence of life. Isn’t it?  But at least some part of our life passes like dreams when we are drowned in the deep ocean of slumber, momentarily though, free from all the uncertainties of life.

A sound sleep ejects all the thoughts from a disturbed mind. The impact of sleep on the mind, sedates all the feelings for a while. It is said that when you’re disturbed then sleep eludes you. It’s true.  You may have experienced sleepless nights. It is so painful, when you want to sleep desperately and slumber refuses to claim you. But no matter how much tensed you are, sooner or later, fighting with your fear and qualms, slowly and silently slumber embraces you (Unless you’re an insomniac :-o).

So, sleep well and keep your worries aside, at least for few hours!
